Directions:
- Cover 2 bags textured protein chunks with water or chicken broth (approximately 7 gallons) & oil for 30 minutes, until soft.
- In a separate bowl mix 2 spice bags with:
2 # 10 cans of tomato sauce (to reduce sodium, use Low Salt Tomato Sauce), 2 cups of wine or apple cider vinegar.
- Drain textured protein chunks and add to the spice mixture – bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until sauce thickens. Serve hot.
